It is a way of being,\u00a0thinking, and living in the world. Its purpose is to inspire heartfelt\u00a0connections between ourselves and other people\u2014connections that allow\u00a0everyone\u2019s needs to be met through compassionate giving. It inspires us\u00a0and others to give from the heart. A clinical psychologist, he is the founder of educational services for the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC), an international nonprofit organization that offers workshops and training in 30 countries.
