Basics of Nonviolent Communication with Christine Dove at the Casa Beginning 9/17/25
Christine Dove will be leading a 5 session class, consecutive Wednesdays beginning 9/17/25, 6:30 to8:30 pm. The aim of the class is to introduce NVC to beginners and support deepening of the practice of NVC by more experienced students. Participants are urged to read or reread Marshall Rosenberg’s book, NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION: A LANGUAGE OF LIFE before the first class. The classes will be interactive with some formal presentation, triad break-outs and entire group discussion.
Session I we will review the process Marshall created and differentiate the components.
Session II will be devoted to Empathy.
Session III will focus on Anger.
Sessions IV and V will be devoted to practicing what we’ve learned. Focus of the meetings will be determined by participant requests.
